I started working with Vanessa in the months leading up to my wedding - I had plateaued with my workout routine and needed some guidance on how to level up and incorporate strength training. Vanessa’s remote coaching has been a perfect fit for me. She designed a very personalized plan and has been incredibly hands on and attentive. I have learned so much since starting (from both a fitness and a nutrition perspective), am more comfortable in the gym, and have already started seeing some great results after only a month. One of the things I appreciate most is how thorough Vanessa is - if I ever have a question or am unsure of something she takes a ton of time to explain and educate. It’s just been a fantastic experience through and through, and I’ve really enjoyed working with a coach who is so supportive and engaged. I can’t recommend Vanessa enough!
Training with Vanessa these last few months has been amazing. She took care to develop a program that both challenges me and makes me think differently about how and what I eat. I've noticed a significant difference in my energy, strength, habits and physique. But I've also felt that throughout this process, Vanessa has been so supportive and encouraging that although my training is remote, it's always felt personal and individualized.
As soon as I met V, I connected to her fun loving, genuine personality. She brings life into a room and that’s exactly what she does when she’s training you. She is no stranger to hard work and true dedication and that is the exact reason why I knew she would be a great trainer. I was ready to make big changes in my life but out of fear, I hadn’t made the commitment yet. Until I met V. Signing up for personal training with her has been the best decision I’ve made. I’ve been working with her since the beginning of 2020 and although it’s hard work, she makes it truly enjoyable.
V is exactly what I need in a trainer, she is attentive and caring to your needs and asks how you are before every session. She also pushes and motivates you to do more because she believes in you and your abilities. And this makes you believe in yourself more. Whether she’s listening to me complain about what she’s asked me to do or just what’s going on in my life that day, she listens. Genuinely listens without judgement. She is also extremely knowledgeable. This is her passion and it shines through in the work she does. I like to learn why I’m doing something and what body part it’s working and she always takes the time to perfectly explain it to me so I understand. Not only does she know what she’s talking about but she knows how to do it. This right here makes the world of difference in a trainer. She doesn’t just talk the talk but she walks it as well. She will take the time to demonstrate every move, and can modify it if needed.
There is not only one way of training with V. She has a skillset that can be used with each individual she meets and she’ll tailor all of your needs accordingly. She can quickly adapt to this everchanging world and be super creative. Most importantly, she understands fitness isn’t just about working out, she knows it is so much more than that. Nutrition, sleep, women’s health and mobility all play a major factor and if one day your training needs to be modified to fit one of those needs, she’ll do exactly that. This holistic approach to training has helped me see real results and has also taught me what my body and mind needs to continuously see results.

Training with V has been such a positive experience on so many levels. I’ve always been a little bit intimidated by personal trainers, but V’s thoughtful and sustainable approach has been anything but. She’s honest, caring and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve gained so much from our time together in only a few short months. I’ve been introduced to countless ways to move and challenge my body. She’s helped dispel inaccurate ideas I had around strength training and given me the confidence to feel both strong and beautiful.
Overall, I now have so much more awareness. I’m aware of my body and it’s imbalances. I’m able to tune into the messages it’s sending me. I have a newfound awareness around food and how it makes me feel. I’ve learned to foster a nourishing and balanced diet that doesn’t prioritize restriction. I’m more aware of my mood and energy levels and how that relates to my lifestyle. I’ve started to see not only physical results, but emotional and mental ones too. I am stronger and in much better shape, but I also view myself in a healthier light. I’m learning to appreciate strength and feeling good over superficial goals.
So much of this is thanks to V’s guidance and encouragement. I’m so grateful for our thought-provoking conversations and her unwavering support. She’s beyond generous with her time and whenever I’m training with her I find her completely present and focused. She has realistic and understanding expectations yet still pushes you to be the best version of yourself. Training with V has truly been an absolute delight. I worked with a number of trainers over the years, but I feel like Vanessa is on a different level. Not only is she knowledgeable and incredibly fit herself, but she is passionate about her work and clearly loves what she does.
While working with her, I learned some lessons that will forever change my perspective on training. Vanessa taught me that strength is more than loading plates on a bar. Building strength is a gradual process that starts small, takes focus and persistence, but that at the end of it I am able to do the exercise I didn’t think my body was capable of doing.
Vanessa taught me about proper form. Most trainers do, but she takes it to the next level. She drills form into every move until it becomes second nature and I find myself aware of proper form in everything I do. Simple every-day activities become squats and deadlifts and rows. I love it!
What I like most about Vanessa is that she is engaged and truly cares about the wellbeing of her clients. She checks in frequently, she listens to my feedback and adjusts the workouts accordingly. We discuss progress and results, and yes, I do see results! Vanessa is great to train with and I look forward to every session.
I've been training with Vanessa for more than two years now and she has been instrumental in helping me become healthier, stronger and more knowledgeable about ways to sustain a holistically healthy life. Yes, she'll build you amazing programs that'll get you results and she'll coach you through every movement to ensure your technique is solid to avoid injury. But she also does more than that. Vanessa helps me understand the 'why' behind what I'm doing so that I know how to listen to my body's responses, provides guidance on my nutrition, and understands the role sleep, mental health and women's health to adjust my fitness program as necessary. It's never a one-size-fits-all approach with her and she never makes you feel insecure or judged for being unaware or new to something.

Vanessa is AWESOME! I do one session with her in the gym each week and the rest of my workouts she sets up for me on the website to do at home and I really love the format of our training as it's very flexible and works really well for my schedule and I've already started seeing great results! As a trainer Vanessa is very supportive and understanding and always encourages me to keep moving forward even if you have a set back or are feeling defeated. She's very approachable and friendly and keeps it fun and explains things in a way I can understand and is always willing to answer any of my questions not just about fitness and technique but also nutrition as well as helping to keep my head in a positive mindset - super important! I started working out with Vanessa after I tore my hamstring in a waterskiing accident. I initially needed Vanessa’s help to recover strength in my injured leg, but she gave me so much more. She gave me the confidence to push myself harder and faster, and to believe that I could achieve my wildest fitness goals. She pushes me extremely hard but never too hard. She’s always there to answer my questions and provide encouragement. The improvement I’ve experienced since working with Vanessa is stark and gratifying. It’s worth the workouts (even the reverse lunges) – trust me!

Vanessa is such an incredible force. She’s not only taught me about how to do the right exercises for my goals, but she’s also shared so much knowledge around nutrition, stretching and overall health. I am absolutely NOT a morning person, but I look forward to our early Tuesday sessions every week.
I met Vanessa last year when she was my trainer with Fit Squad. We trained together for about three months but what she taught me stuck with me to this day. Vanessa trained me for the year leading up to my first pregnancy (and continued to train me in early pregnancy). I loved my sessions with her, she has such a positive energy and she's so enthusiastic about the work that she does. She really motivated me and I looked forward to every workout that I had with her. My trainer Vanessa was super motivating, dedicated, accommodating to my specific body, and really took a holistic approach to the work. She was also really adaptable and understanding of my busy schedule. Sometimes I was less dedicated than other times and she held my inconsistency with softness and also with encouragement.
