Personal Training & Remote Coaching by Vanessa

Vanessa Orford is a Personal Training Specialist based in central Toronto, Canada. Working in fitness for the last 15 years, she has coached hundreds of clients from all walks of life.​​ She got her start training with several prominent fitness studios in downtown Toronto (Fuel Training Club, FITSQUAD etc.) and founded her own personal training company, VWELLNESS in 2020.

Her specialties include strength training, mobility, body recomposition, and wellness. She carries certifications in nutrition, women's health, exercise science, nervous system regulation, programming, biomechanics and more. She describes her approach as compassionate and collaborative.

Personal Training (in-person):

$150/hr

1x per week= $600/every 4 weeks 

2x per week= $1200/every 4 weeks

Remote Coaching (online):

$400, auto-billed every 4 weeks

Hybrid (PT+Coaching)

1 PT session/week + remote (solo) workout program

Not only does she know what she’s talking about but she knows how to do it. This right here makes the world of difference in a trainer. She doesn’t just talk the talk but she walks it as well. She will take the time to demonstrate every move, and can modify it if needed.
 
There is not only one way of training with V. She has a skillset that can be used with each individual she meets and she’ll tailor all of your needs accordingly. She can quickly adapt to this everchanging world and be super creative. Most importantly, she understands fitness isn’t just about working out, she knows it is so much more than that. Nutrition, sleep, women’s health and mobility all play a major factor and if one day your training needs to be modified to fit one of those needs, she’ll do exactly that. This holistic approach to training has helped me see real results and has also taught me what my body and mind needs to continuously see results.
 
Not only do you get this knowledgeable, passionate personal trainer with V. You also get a friend, a motivator, a confidant and a bad ass woman who believes you!

Training with V has been such a positive experience on so many levels. I’ve always been a little bit intimidated by personal trainers, but V’s thoughtful and sustainable approach has been anything but. She’s honest, caring and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve gained so much from our time together in only a few short months. I’ve been introduced to countless ways to move and challenge my body. I've been training with Vanessa for more than two years now and she has been instrumental in helping me become healthier, stronger and more knowledgeable about ways to sustain a holistically healthy life.
 
Yes, she'll build you amazing programs that'll get you results and she'll coach you through every movement to ensure your technique is solid to avoid injury. But she also does more than that. Vanessa helps me understand the 'why' behind what I'm doing so that I know how to listen to my body's responses,  provides guidance on my nutrition, and understands the role sleep, mental health and women's health to adjust my fitness program as necessary. It's never a one-size-fits-all approach with her and she never makes you feel insecure or judged for being unaware or new to something.

 

She's attentive, passionate about what she does, strong AF and knows how to tap into different styles of coaching to motivate and push different styles of clients. Vanessa's always learning, always sharing and, she will always show up for you, as long as you show up for yourself. Working with her is an absolute pleasure and I can't imagine being trained by anyone else!

Vanessa is AWESOME!
I do one session with her in the gym each week and the rest of my workouts she sets up for me on the website to do at home and I really love the format of our training as it's very flexible and works really well for my schedule and I've already started seeing great results!
 
As a trainer Vanessa is very supportive and understanding and always encourages me to keep moving forward even if you have a set back or are feeling defeated.
 
She's very approachable and friendly and keeps it fun and explains things in a way I can understand and is always willing to answer any of my questions not just about fitness and technique but also nutrition as well as helping to keep my head in a positive mindset - super important!

I started working out with Vanessa after I tore my hamstring in a waterskiing accident. I initially needed Vanessa’s help to recover strength in my injured leg, but she gave me so much more.
 
She gave me the confidence to push myself harder and faster, and to believe that I could achieve my wildest fitness goals. She pushes me extremely hard but never too hard.
